Marks & Spencer is honoured to be supporting Sir Ian Botham's walk for childhood leukaemia. This is the second of Sir Ian's fundraising walks for Leukaemia Research that M&S has supported. We're delighted Sir Ian has chosen to start each leg of his walk at one of our stores and we're sure our staff and customers will give him a warm welcome every day. We'll also keep Sir Ian and his team supplied with M&S food and clothing throughout the walk.

Guoman Hotels/Thistle is delighted to support Sir Ian Botham and Leukaemia Research by sponsoring 'Beefy's Great British Walk -Against Childhood Leukaemia'. Chris Gillett, Chief Operating Officer, Thistle Hotels says: "We are delighted to have this opportunity to support Sir Ian Botham's walk for Leukaemia Research by giving him and his team a comfortable night's rest at one of our hotels. In addition to providing accommodation for the duration of the walk, we hope to raise awareness of the work Leukaemia Research does among our associates, guests and our local communities. Hotels involved will also be fundraising for the charity". Guoman Hotels/Thistle will provide accommodation and meals to Sir Ian and his team during the 2008 walk. Hotels involved are Thistle London Heathrow, Thistle Brighton, Thistle Stratford-upon-Avon, Atlantic Tower Liverpool, Thistle Glasgow and Thistle Newcastle.
Volkswagen Touareg
Volkswagen UK is proud to be supporting Sir Ian Botham with the loan of six Touareg 4x4 vehicles for his latest series of charity walks. Sir Ian became a Brand Ambassador for the Volkswagen Touareg at the beginning of this year, and works closely with the company to promote the vehicle as 'a great all-rounder', both in raising awareness and demonstrating the car's abilities. The Touaregs will be used by Sir Ian and his crew, providing essential back-up for the team as they travel across the UK.
