Day 9: Durham - Beamish to Durham CCC
Date of walk: 18 October 2008

Beamish is an award-winning open air museum, set in 300 acres of beautiful County Durham countryside. The museum vividly illustrates life in North East England in the early 1800s and early 1900s. Buildings from throughout the region have been brought to Beamish, rebuilt and furnished as they once were.
Beefy will lead this 7 mile walk through the grounds of Beamish Museum following a tram that will show the way! From here the walk heads towards Chester-Le-Street to finish at Durham County Cricket Club where Beefy ended his successful cricket career.
